Polish Wz31 Helmet with crest standard issue for OPL (Air Defense) and Fire Department units. Most of the Wz.31 helmets went to Army units. The helmets which didn't pass strict military quality requirements were marked with steel stud instead of brass one on the back rim and were issued to civilian OPL units and Fire Department. Presented helmet is one of those. Painted grey with chromed crest, leather liner and leather enforcement strap inside. Chin strap construction indicates a Fire Department usage. Condition: excellent shell with no dents or cracks, most of the grey paint remains. Crest with some remains of the chrome, rest covered with patina. Leather liner with some tears on one side. Chin strap very good.
