Beautiful Austro-Hungarian Bayonet model 1895 for Mannlicher model 1895 rifle and carbine. Straight blade with fuller on both sides and central point. Straight crossguard with muzzle ring and setting bolt. Wooden grips and iron scabbard. Blade is 9.80" long, 14.21" overall length. Muzzle ring is 0.59" dia (15 mm). Blade is marked "F.G.GY." (Fegyvergyar) on one side and Austrian Eagle on the other. Regimental marking on top of the handle: "G.Z.SCH. 3". Nice condition: blade with no rust or pitting just uniform patina. No nicks on the blade and it was not sharpened. Excellent grips in light color wood with no dings. Black painted scabbard marked with "FGGY' and Austrian Eagle, has two small indentation on front. Interesting and rare bayonet in beautiful condition.
