Austrian bayonet model 1873 for Werndl rifle model 1873 and model 1873/77. Sabre like blade with fuller on both sides and back point. Black rubber grips, crossguard with hook, muzzle ring and setting bolt. Regimental markings on the hook and manufacturer "OEWG" (Steyr) on the blade. Iron black painted scabbard and leather frog. Blade is 18.5" long, 23.88" overall. Muzzle ring is 0.74 dia. Condition: shiny blade with no rust or pitting, great grips with no chips. Scabbard has no dents and most of the black pain present. Excellent leather frog with no tears and perfect stitches. Great bayonet would be hard to upgrade.
