Beautiful British Officer's 20th Century sword with 31 inches long blade (37 inches overall length). The blade is in almost mint condition and it is beautifully etched on both sides with Crown, anchor and a Royal House Crest. There is "265" number on the spine close to the handguard. The intricately detailed guard wears the Lion's head pommel and the face is adorned with a crowned anchor which is also wonderfully enhanced with a fabulous, original sword knot in like new condition. The lovely rayskin covered hilt also remains in a very nice, tight condition with original twisted wire wrap. The leather scabbard wears pretty brass fittings and overall is in excellent, almost like new condition.
Great Naval Sword, it would be hard to upgrade.
