Beautiful and untouched Hungarian sword from mid of 19th century in "Juristic Sword" style. This type of sword became popular with Hungarian nobility during 1848 uprising. Nicely curved combat blade decorated with blued panoply of arms on both sides. Solid brass and silver deeply decorated handle and brass "S" shape crossguard also nicely decorated. Wooden, damask covered scabbard with nicely decorated brass fittings.
Condition: beautiful uncleaned and untouched. Blade without rust or pitting, bluing turning to grey. All metal on hilt and scabbard with no damage just covered with uniform patina. Damask on the scabbard almost gone, original color can be visible on the edge of metal.
