Scarce CALISHER & TERRY Long Rifle 30 bore, 33.5" barrel length. Breech marked: "TERRY'S PATENT 30 BORE", plain lock plate marked: "CALISHER & TERRY 1868". Standard front, rear sights & bayonet lug, iron regulation type furniture with very good profiles and clear clear markings: "CALISHER & TERRY MAKERS WHITTALL ST BIRMINGHAM" to right side of butt . Complete with swivels, leather sling, rod & one pc in the butt. Blue/grey finish to barrel, lock & breech; grey to furniture. Very good stock with minor bruising but no chips or missing wood. Very good bore with clear, strong rifling. Mechanical excellent working condition. Dated 1868. A scarce rifle - great addition to advanced collection.
