Unique Polish 19th Century dueling/target pistol pair, caliber about 15.8 mm, smooth bore. This looks like a conversion from earlier 18th century flintlock action. Made in Warsaw, Poland and marked: "C.L. Giebenhan a Varsovie". This pair belonged to nobility - round/octagonal barrels have Crest in Gold on the top: "CLG" under open Crown - Duke? Pistols are numbered "1" and "2",  no other markings. Two trigger sets, all iron construction. Condition: original, untouched and uncleaned. Metal parts covered with spots of patina and couple of rust spots - could clean nicely if desired. Action works great, number "2" would need a little adjustment. Beautiful wood with no chips  and just one small crack on number "2" in front of lock plate - see photo. Both guns missing a nose cups. Beautiful and super rare Warsaw manufactured pair of pistols.
