French Navy Kropatschek M1878 Bayonet which looks similar to Gras bayonet except doesn't have the step in the handle. Bayonet was made by Steyr which is still faintly visible on the spine. Marked with serial number on the hook and Naval anchor on the crossguard. Overall length 25.25". Very good condition, nice shiny blade, scabbard without dents, nicely blued. Locking mechanism works perfectly, good grips with some dents and a little damage to the left one above top screw. Relatively scarce bayonet.
