Pre World War Two production Czechoslovak vz.24 Mauser bayonet. Manufactured in Czechoslovakia in the 1930-s for the VZ-24 Mauser rifles. The blade displays, "CSZ K". The side of the hilt also displays, "E3, Rampant Lion, 37" (stamped between the wooden grips). Complete with a correct steel scabbard. The scabbard frog's hook shows the following markings, "CSZ , E3, Rampant Lion, 36". This is a variant with a blue finish and with no muzzle ring (modified and reissued by Germans?). The bayonet comes complete with a German style leather frog. The back of the frog displays some fading and unrecognizable markings. Overall length: 17.5 inch. Blade length: 11.75 inch. CONDITION: Overall in fine+ condition. The blade has about 68% of its blue finish. The hardwood grips are in excellent condition. The scabbard shows about 94% of its blue finish. Very attractive Czechoslovak bayonet!
