English Martini Enfield P.1895 socket bayonet. Complete with an original leather scabbard with brass fittings. English War Department markings are present on the blade and on the scabbard. The blade length is 22 inch. CONDITION: Very good. Full length blade shows some scattered patina, some pitting and some surface rust. All the markings are clear. The locking ring works fine. The stitching on the scabbard's leather is coming apart. Small piece of leather is missing from the upper part of the scabbard. (Janzen p.47/3)
