English Martini Metford socket bayonet. Standard P.1876 bayonet with the socket bushed for Metford barrel. English War Department markings are present on the blade. Some Indian characters are also stamped on the blade. Missing the scabbard. CONDITION: Very good+. Full length blade is in very good condition with some light surface rust and patina. All the markings are nice and clear. The locking ring works fine. (Janzen p.47/2)
